Description – Phenol:Chloroform:Isoamylalchol=125:24:1, pH 4.5

Removal of proteins from nucleic acids can be achieved by extraction with phenol:chloroform solutions.

If this solutions come in contact with skin, burns will occur quickly.

It’s required that the user were laboratory clothing including gloves.
