Description – 1M Tris(hydroxymethyl) aminomethane, pH 8.4. pH adjusted with Hydrochloric acid(HCl).

Application – Tris is extensively used in biochemistry and molecular biology.  In biochemistry, Tris is widely used as a component of buffer solution, especially for solutions of nucleic acids.
