Description – 1M Tris(hydroxymethyl) aminomethane, pH 6.8. pH adjusted with Hydrochloric acid(HCl).

These solutions are ready for use and require no extra preparation.

Application – Tris is extensively used in biochemistry and molecular biology.  In biochemistry, Tris is widely used as a component of buffer solution, especially for solutions of nucleic acids.
