Description – 1M Tris(hydroxymethyl) aminomethane, pH 8.6. pH adjusted with Hydrochloric acid(HCl). These solutions are ready for use and require no extra preparation.

Tris is extensively used in biochemistry and molecular biology. In biochemistry, Tris is widely used as a component of buffer solution, especially for solutions of  nucleic acids.
